Frequently Asked Questions
What will be visible in the photo?
Photos are typically shot at 2/3 height (mid-thigh and above) and may be cropped further to head and shoulders. Please wear appropriate clothing as your lower half will be visible in the photos.

Will I get to select my final photo?
Yes, after the shoot, you will receive a link to your online proof gallery where you can view your photos and select your frame to have edited.
Westcorp has paid for one high-resolution image per team member. Additional frames may be purchased at your own cost at a rate of $40 per image. You will receive a high-resolution file to print or post online. Feel free to use your headshot on LinkedIn, make it your avatar on Microsoft Teams, even for speaking gigs!
Will a hair and makeup artist be available at the shoot?
No, hair and makeup is not included. If you wish to have your hair and makeup done, you are welcome to source your own style team at your own cost.
What should I do for hair, makeup and wardrobe?
MAKEUP
If wearing makeup is preferred, fresh natural makeup is best. You may bring your makeup with you for touch ups just in case.
HAIR
For women, long hair tends to look best worn down and away from the face.
Hair worn back and up in a bun or ponytail might not look as flattering in photographs.
GROOMING
Men who choose to have facial hair in their photos should look neat and groomed with a clean neck and stray hairs tidied.
WARDROBE
Wardrobe should be professional looking. Business casual or business formal clothes work best: Opt for suits, dress pants/skirts, dress shirts/blouses and sweaters that fit well and are free of lint and creases.
To avoid blending into a white background, white shirts should only be worn under a darker coloured jacket or sweater.
Avoid wearing loud colours, distracting logos or patterns
We recommend not wearing glasses to avoid glare. If wearing glasses are preferred, ensure they are clean and free of smudges.
